VITAMIN C FOUNDATION RELEASES ITS LIST OF THE TOP TEN WEBSITES THAT DISSEMINATE MISINFORMATION ABOUT VITAMIN C
HOUSTON, TX- The Vitamin C Foundation released a list of the Top Ten Websites That Disseminate Misinformation About Vitamin C today. Topping the list are websites hosted by prestigious organizations such as the National Library of Medicine's "Medline Plus," the National Institutes of Health, the Mayo Clinic, Quackwatch, Consumerlab.com, WebMD and the Merck Manual.
The most often published misinformation about vitamin C is that mega-doses of this vitamin are washed away in the urine and produce nothing more than expensive urine. A recent study published by National Institutes of Health researchers dispels this belief. High oral doses of vitamin C have now been demonstrated to produce three times higher concentration in the blood plasma than previously thought possible. [Annals Internal Medicine 2004 Apr 6 ;140(7):533-7] Since 1996 the National Institutes of Health and the Institutes of Medicine have published spurious information that blood plasma saturation for vitamin C is achieved with a 200 milligram of oral dose and additional amounts are worthless.
Another mistaken but widely distributed fabrication regarding vitamin C is that 5 servings of fruits and vegetables are sufficient to provide the 200 milligrams of vitamin C recommended by the Institutes of Medicine. In fact, the most commonly consumed plant foods (iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, French fries, orange juice and onions) provide only about 110 milligrams of vitamin C, which is the typical consumption level for American adults. Furthermore, the National Cancer Institute concedes five servings of plant foods have not reduced the risk for cancer or heart disease and now recommend nine servings.
Yet another widely held misconception disseminated by various health organizations is that the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA = 75 milligrams for adult males, 90 milligrams for females and an additional 35 milligrams for smokers) is sufficient for 98 percent of the population. In fact, more than 4 in 10 Americans do not even consume the RDA levels of vitamin C. Furthermore, the RDA is misleading since it is established for healthy people only, not millions of Americans who have increased need for vitamin C (example s are smokers, pregnant women, diabetics, athletes, users of aspirin, steroids, birth control pills or estrogen, anemic and hospitalized individuals).
Among other commonly published falsehoods about vitamin C is the assertion that high-dose vitamin C causes kidney stones, that high-dose vitamin C induces iron overload, or that mega doses of vitamin C may cause DNA damage and increase the risk of cancer. These widely held beliefs and not backed by scientific investigation. [Science. 2001 Sep 14; 293:1993-5; Int J Vita min Nutr Res 1999 Mar;69:67-82; J Am Society Nephrology 1999 Apr;10:840-5; Nutrition Reviews 1999 Mar;57:71-7; Clin Chem Laboratory Medicine. 1998 Mar;36:143-7; Annals Nutrition Metabolism. 1997;41:269-82]

Cancer fighting nutrients become deadly when combined with chlorinated tap water
Some of nature's most valuable and essential anti-cancer and anti-disease phytochemical nutrients which are commonly found in food have been discovered to form deadly cancer causing substances when consumed or combined with chlorinated tap water. This discovery includes familiar foods including soy, fruits, vegetables, tea, many health products, and even some vitamins. Research has proven that these essential nutrients are the exact same families of compounds, that even in infinitesimal amounts have been tormenting the water treatment and chlorine industries for years.
Recently, a joint study was undertaken in Japan by research scientists at the National Institute of Health Sciences and Shizuoka Prefectural University. They determined that natural organic substances originating from foods, including fruits, soy, and green or black tea, react when tap water is chlorinated, forming dangerous cancer causing compounds. These deadly compounds have been named MX, which stands for "unknown mutagen", and are similar to the already well-known and more easily detected cancer causing THMs (trihalomethanes).
The Japanese scientists specifically mentioned that their studies showed that MX is created by the reaction of chlorine with natural organic plant phytochemicals such as catechins, which are contained in tea, and flavonoids which are found in fruit. Since Japan has an extremely high consumption of tea, fruits, and soy products, it is easy to see how high amounts of residues from these foods would end up in their wastewater treatment and water recycling systems.
Earlier studies by scientists in Finland in 1997 determined that MX is 170 times more deadly than other known toxic byproducts of chlorination, and was shown in laboratory studies to damage the thyroid gland as well as cause cancerous tumors.
THMs are known to be created by the reaction of chlorine with humic and fulvic acids, which are the final breakdown products of vegetation, including decayed leaves and organic matter. Humic substances are the same as soil humus, of which the fulvic fraction is water soluble and readily transported into streams and waterways, as well as utilized nutritionally by plants.
Very recent scientific discoveries have identified and clarified the composition of fulvic and humic acids as containing a significant amount of nutritional phytochemical groups including hormones, sterols, fatty acids, polyphenols, and ketones, which subgroups include but are not limited to: flavins, flavonoids, flavones, tannins, catechins, quinones, isoflavones, tocopherols, etc.
These compounds are some of the most valuable and promising anti-cancer nutrients found in our foods and health supplements. Coenzyme Q10 is a quinone, vitamin B-2 is a flavin, vitamin E is a tocopherol, citrus bioflavonoids including hesperidin, quercetin, and rutin are all flavonoids, green tea contains catechins, phenols, tannins, and isoflavones. Potentially all of these substances, and many more, are implicated by chlorination.
Amazingly, is has been discovered that these phytochemicals remain intact, concentrated, and intricately combined within humic substances; which are valuable remnants of nature's protective substances contained within fruits, flowers, pollen, nuts and seeds, as well as vegetative parts including roots, stems, bark, and leaves. Even the plant nucleic acids, RNA and DNA remain intact.
To comply with EPA rulings, water treatment plants have had to develop special techniques to scrub the seemingly dubious organic residues from water prior to treatment with chlorine. There is nothing wrong with the organic substances themselves, it is chlorine that is at fault for turning them into the deadly THM and MX cancer cocktail. Reality is that the organic substances have been shown to be highly beneficial combined with pure drinking water in trace amounts.
The bottom line is this: when water treatment facilities remove these substances, they are throwing the precious baby out with the bath water, and the remnants that remain are turned into cancer causing agents by chlorination. To make things worse, it is certain that the fresh plant foods we eat similarly react with the chlorinated tap water we drink with our meals, creating toxins. This means that fresh fruits and vegetables, green salads, green tea, black tea, herb teas, soy products, vitamin pills and various health supplements, and even some pharmaceutical drugs, all can be implicated in combination with chlorinated water.
The deadly cancer causing agents which are produced are extremely toxic in infinitesimal amounts, so small and obscure that they are extremely difficult to detect. Very little chlorine is required. When the concentrations of phytochemicals are high, such as in concentrated health supplements, or even fruits and vegetables coming from more fertile soils, the deadly combination with chlorination intensifies.
It has been known by the water treatment and chemical industries for many years that chlorine reacts negatively with natural organic compounds. These industries call these compounds DBPs (disinfection by-products) which are known to cause cancer in populations whose drinking water contains them. THM, the most commonly known DBP, is known to cause a high incidence of bladder cancer and also to cause spontaneous abortion of fetuses.
The Environmental Protection Agency has continually tightened their restrictions on THMs in drinking water, and even tighter restrictions are just around the bend. Yet it is interesting to note that the many government agencies and chlorine industries have conveniently neglected to take a serious look at food, health supplement, and pharmaceutical drug consumption, preparation, and production relating to use of chlorinated tap water.
There is good reason for the public to seriously examine and question this entire issue. Many years ago laws were passed making chlorination of water mandatory. Now, the chlorine industry and government agencies must continue their existing policies, because if sudden or drastic changes are made, the legal liabilities would be staggering. Certainly some government or industry personnel have known or theorized about these problems and have been covering them up for many years. However, if anyone were to admit to it, the consequences could be disastrous. This predicament could make the tobacco industry scandal seem insignificant in comparison.
Another area needing thorough scrutiny relates to pharmaceutical drug safety studies normally performed on animals in the laboratory. It would be reasonable to surmise that good laboratory practices and procedures would require that such studies be performed using highly purified drinking water for animals. It would be reasonable to believe that drug companies would not take the chance of jeopardizing clinical studies using chlorinated tap water. Of course chlorinated tap water is a common denominator within the human environment. Educating people to the dangers of chlorine would be admitting to knowledge of the problem, which could invalidate past studies and certainly raise serious legal problems.
This whole chlorine issue should come as no real surprise to any biochemist. During the last century, chlorine has been combined with many other normally safe organic substances to form some of the most powerful deadly toxins known, such as dioxin, DDT, PCBs, etc. The bottom line is that the real culprit is chlorine, not the substances with which it reacts.
Although chlorine has essentially eliminated the risks of waterborne diseases such as typhoid fever, cholera and dysentery, there are many pathogens that are not controlled by chlorine. Other and better methods of water treatment exist. Many alternatives are already used throughout the world. Ever tightening EPA regulations have forced the water supply industry in the USA to look into alternative methods for disinfecting water.
For years, environmentalists have battled the water treatment industry and large chemical companies in an effort to ban the use of chlorine in drinking water. This ongoing battle has been a big source of revenue for both sides. As word of the problem spreads to the general public, something might actually be done about it.
As this message spreads, it will no doubt shake the very foundations of the chlorine and water treatment industries, let alone the government agencies that are implicated along with them. There certainly should be cause for serious alarm within the nutritional supplement and food industries, as well as those segments of the medical industry that might awaken to the dilemma.
This message is of utmost importance to the general public, because chlorine will one day, in the near future, be exposed as a major cause and contributor to cancer and degenerative disease. Chlorine will also be found to be responsible for damaging the body's immune and hormonal systems by mutating the food-based plant estrogens and phytochemicals that support those systems. A healthy immune system should be your first and best line of defense against waterborne disease.

Plant phytochemicals and nutrient groups can be determined from information within the Organic Chemical Tables; Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), a division of the American Chemical Society.

MICROWAVED WATER WON'T SPROUT SEEDS
Nuked In Your Kitchen
by William Thomas
Our culture of convenience is killing us. If the stress of buying and replacing an endless array of gadgets isnt harsh enough, our addiction to appliances unheard of only a few decades ago is propelling us toward mass misery, death and health care cost calamity on a scale not seen since cars and cigarettes became as personally essential as all the consumer crazes that followed.
But the electrochemical exchanges that enable cells to function and communicate in human brains and bodies are so subtle, and so delicately attuned to Earths own quietly humming electromagnetics, the inaudible "noise" from so many clever devices threatens to drown the very signals on which all life depends. And there is nothing convenient about cancer.
Already we are seeing unfolding epidemics of cancers, brain damage and immune dysfunction that threaten the "best and the brightest" students and executives among technologically advanced and emerging nations. Particularly hard hit will be the next generation on which so much depends. For this is our "Last Chance Century" to stop abusing ourselves and the planet on which we depend - and it is the young who are most vulnerable to the most pervasive human-made pollution ever unleashed: electromagnetic smog.
Whether portable phone or microwave wonder, exposing your three million year-old hominid self to energy levels never before encountered in primate evolution is a spectacularly bad idea. It turns out that the microwaves messing up your cells from your aptly named "cell phone", neighborhood cell phone tower, or newly acquired long-range cordless phone are radiating at the same 2.45 Gigahertz frequency emitted by your microwave oven.
Studies of plant, animal and human susceptibility to electromagnetic fields show that the higher the frequency the more damage results. Instead of talking on your cell phone while eating a microwaved meal, you might as well go live next to Chernobyls leaky containment dome.
The Russians call the symptoms of this new radiation hazard, "Microwave Sickness". After capturing the first karmically-compromised microwave ovens from their Nazi inventors, the Soviets expanded on the Reichs initial two-year research in Berlin by looking hard at microwave maladies from 1957 until nearly the end of the Cold War - when the Kremlin banned these infernal machines. As Anthony Wayne and Lawrence Newell point out in "The Hidden Hazards Of Microwave Cooking", Russian researchers also found decreased nutritional value - or significant dimming of their "vital energy field" - in up to 90% in all microwaved foods.
In addition, the B complex, C and E vitamins linked with stress-reduction and the prevention of cancer and heart disease - as well as the essential trace minerals needed for optimum brain and body functioning - were rendered useless by microwaves, even at short cooking durations.
Not only is microwaved food reduced to the nutritional equivalent of cardboard, lymphatic disorders leading to an inability to prevent certain cancers were also observed, along with increased rates of cancer cell formation in the blood of people eating microwaved meals. The Russians reported increased rates of stomach and intestinal cancers, as well as digestive and excretive disorders - plus a higher percentage of cell tumors, including sarcoma - in people exposed to food molecularly ripped apart by these dangerous devices.
It turns out that eating over-energized food "zapped" in a microwave imparts that energy to the human nervous system. The resulting stress causes a high blood pressure response, with such characteristic symptoms as migraines, dizziness, stomach pain and anxiety.
Higher incidences of hair loss, appendicitis, cataracts and reproductive problems have also been found among constant consumers of microwaved food - with womens more complex hormones and plumbing proving particularly vulnerable. Regardless of gender, adrenal exhaustion and heart disease caused by microwave food stress, the Russian researchers stressed, can be fatal.
They also found that regularly consuming food "nuked" in a microwave also leads to memory loss and attention disorders - as well as increased crankiness, depression, disconnected thoughts and sleep interruption.
Recent research confirms that the spikes of violently oscillating energy pulsed into microwaved meals and transferred to the blood stream by eating these foods can cause permanent brain damage by "shorting out" intercellular signals and "de-polarizing" brain tissue which depends on natural +/- electrical polarities to function.
in 1976, the same corporate-controlled US media that later failed to flag Americans on glaring 911 anomalies and the manufactured "threat" from a shattered Iraq, also neglected to report the Soviet governments ban on "microwaves" - which were by then taking over cooking chores in nine out of ten American homes.
Unlike the direct radiant heat from regular ovens and toaster ovens - which cook food like a Paleolithic campfire from the outside in - space age microwave ovens hurl high-frequency microwaves that boil the moisture within food and its packaging by whipsawing water molecules dizzyingly back-and-forth at more than a billion reversals per second.. This frenetic friction fractures food molecules, rearranging their chemical composition into weird new configurations unrecognizable as food by human bodies - which tend to react as if confronted by terrorists wearing grotesque masks.
Eating molecularly-molested foods alters your blood chemistry, too.
Hows this for microwave magic: Eat your organic veggies zapped by microwaves and send your cholesterol soaring! As noted in my previous article, "Cooked", Swiss scientist Hertel harrumphs: "Blood cholesterol levels are less influenced by cholesterol content of the food than by stress factors" in non-fat microwaved foods.
Reporting for the Forensic Research Document of AREC Research, William P. Kopp now states: "The effects of microwaved food by-products are long term, permanent within the human body. Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down."
Dr. Mercola concurs: "Recent research shows that microwave oven-cooked food suffers severe molecular damage. When eaten, it causes abnormal changes in human blood and immune systems. Not surprisingly the public has been denied details on these significant health dangers " [www.mercola.com]
Here's a fun experiment you can do at home: Plant seeds in two pots. Water one pot with water nuked in a microwave; the other with "normal" filtered tap water. Surprise! The seeds soaking up microwaved water won't sprout.

Soy: Is it Healthy or is it Harmful?
By Dr. Joseph Mercola with Rachael Droege
In recent years soy has emerged as a near perfect food, with supporters claiming it can provide an ideal source of protein, lower cholesterol, protect against cancer and heart disease, reduce menopause symptoms, and prevent osteoporosis, among other things. But how did such a perfect food emerge from a product that in 1913 was listed in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) handbook not as a food but as an industrial product?
According to lipid specialist and nutritionist Mary Enig, PhD, "The reason theres so much soy in America is because they [the soy industry] started to plant soy to extract the oil from it and soy oil became a very large industry. Once they had as much oil as they did in the food supply they had a lot of soy protein residue left over, and since they cant feed it to animals, except in small amounts, they had to find another market."
And another market was what they found. To put it simply, after multi-million dollar figures spent on advertising and intense lobbying to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), about 74 percent of U.S. consumers now believe soy products are healthy.
If youre thinking the health claims surrounding soy sound too good to be true you just may be right. Soy has become another misunderstood food category, to be added to the ranks of coconut oil, saturated fats and vegetable oils. The two former have gained a negative reputation where a good one actually applies, but vegetable oil, along with soy, have emerged with sparkling reputations that cover up the truth.
For just a brief look at whats really going on, consider that numerous studies have found that soy products may:
Increase the risk of breast cancer in women, brain damage in both men and women, and abnormalities in infants
Contribute to thyroid disorders, especially in women
Promote kidney stones
Weaken the immune system
Cause severe, potentially fatal food allergies
Soy products also contain:
Phytoestrogens (isoflavones) genistein and daidzein, which mimic and sometimes block the hormone estrogen
Phytates, which block the body's uptake of minerals
Enzyme Inhibitors, which hinder protein digestion
Haemaggluttin, which causes red blood cells to clump together and inhibits oxygen take-up and growth
Further, most soybeans are grown on farms that use toxic pesticides and herbicides, and many are from genetically engineered plants. When you consider that two-thirds of all manufactured food products contain some form of soy, it becomes clear just how many Americans are consuming GM products, whose long-term effects are completely unknown.
Perhaps the most disturbing of soys ill effects on health has to do with its phytoestrogens that can mimic the effects of the female hormone estrogen. These phytoestrogens have been found to have adverse effects on various human tissues, and drinking even two glasses of soy milk daily for one month has enough of the chemical to alter a womans menstrual cycle. The FDA regulates estrogen-containing products, however no warnings exist on soy. Two senior toxicologists with the FDA. Daniel Sheehan and Daniel Doerge, have even come out saying "The public will be put at potential risk from soy isoflavones in soy protein isolate without adequate warning and information." Soy is particularly problematic for infants, and soy infant formulas should be avoided. It has been estimated that infants who are fed soy formula exclusively receive five birth control pills worth of estrogen every day.
There are some redeeming qualities to soy, however these are found primarily in fermented soy products like tempeh, miso and natto and soybean sprouts. If you want to get some health benefits from soy, stick to these four forms and pass up the processed soy milks, soy burgers, soy ice cream, soy cheese, and the myriad of other soy junk foods that are so readily disguised as health foods.

ExxonMobil a Graver Threat Than Terrorism
By David Swanson
t r u t h o u t | Perspective
Thursday 08 April 2004
Global warming is a far bigger threat than global terrorism, according to Tony Blair's chief scientific advisor, David King. Global warming is likely to lead to economic catastrophe and wars over diminished resources according to a report commissioned by that group of flaming liberals, the U.S. Department of Defense.
The unelected president of the United States, following the lead of ExxonMobil, denies the danger of global warming - just as disgruntled insiders say he did with al Qaeda. The vast majority of Americans think corporations have too much influence in their government and that the environment should be a bigger priority. This issue is hot and not going away. Are you listening, Senator Kerry?
Those of us who want to slow global warming should have two goals right now. One is to pressure Kerry to make shifting toward renewable energies a prominent focus and to help Kerry get elected. Protecting the environment should not be presented in political discussion as a side benefit of reducing dependence on foreign oil or of an initiative to create new jobs and develop new technologies, though it can be both. Rather, the goal of ending global warming should be given the priority that, in retrospect, preventing an attack by al Qaeda should have had in the presidential election of 2000. This threat is far more serious and far better known, and the incumbent's position on it is clearly opposed to that of most Americans. And I see no reason why Kerry cannot make standing up to the agenda of ExxonMobil look sufficiently macho to fit the image his advisors believe he must maintain.
Our second goal should, in fact, be hurting and influencing the ExxonMobil corporation. This company does not just represent the worst in the history of American monopolies. It is not just the company responsible for the largest oil spill in history, which it has neither cleaned up nor paid for - as documented in a recent Nation magazine article. ExxonMobil is not just the largest oil company on the planet, doing more than any other to create global warming through the burning of fossil fuels. ExxonMobil is not just a company dedicated to continuing its exclusive focus on oil, steadfastly resisting any diversification into less harmful energy sources.
More importantly, ExxonMobil is the leading funder of bogus science and disingenuous lobbying aimed at convincing government officials, if not the public, that global warming - like evolution - is "only a theory." ExxonMobil spends millions on misleading propaganda every year and has led the way in sabotaging international attempts to address this crisis. ExxonMobil was one of George W. Bush's chief contributors, and he announced that the US would abandon international agreements to address global warming as soon as, although not before, he was in office.
The leading public interest group pressuring ExxonMobil to change its ways is, of course, not our government. It's Greenpeace. Greenpeace, like ExxonMobil, is international, and the activist group has been putting pressure on ExxonMobil around the world through a variety of creative strategies. In May 2002, Greenpeace released this devastating report on ExxonMobil's junk science and political influence.
Greenpeace began campaigning with the goal of forcing ExxonMobil to support the Kyoto treaty aimed at reducing fossil fuel emissions. In May of 2003, Greenpeace volunteers staged a colorful protest at ExxonMobil headquarters in Irving, Texas, that included several tiger costumes, a poster displayed from the roof, and blocked entrances preventing employees from reporting to work. The protesters believed they were engaged in nonviolent civil disobedience for the sake of the planet their children and grandchildren would live on.
Things turned ugly when police assaulted and pepper sprayed the activists before arresting them and holding them for two days in jail. Things turned surprisingly worse when they charged 36 people with felony counts of rioting and/or engaging in criminal activity. And just in case that didn't deter people who care about the future of their world from speaking out, a Texas judge granted ExxonMobil a nationwide temporary injunction against Greenpeace, preventing Greenpeace activists from demonstrating near any property in the United States with the ExxonMobil logo on it.
This case, which is still pending, is part of a disturbing trend of heightened criminalization of free speech and public protest, which also includes the U.S. Justice Department's prosecution of the entire Greenpeace organization in retaliation for a peaceful protest by two Greenpeace activists who boarded a ship smuggling illegal mahogany from Brazil's Amazon rainforest. The statute being used by John Ashcroft's agency in that case had previously not been heard of for more than a century.
While Greenpeace's hands are tied, I'd like to propose that the rest of us help out. Go to www.dontbuyexxonmobil.org and sign up for the newsletter and download the activist kit. Stop buying gas or anything else from ExxonMobil. Hold teach-ins, and stage demonstrations at Exxon gas stations encouraging people not to stop there for gas. Do so now, because ExxonMobil is looking around for a new CEO. Whether the company decides it needs a CEO willing to join the 21st century may depend on whether we make our voices heard. Whether ExxonMobil changes its ways may significantly impact what the Earth looks like at the end of the 21st century.

NANOFIBERS BEING MISUSED IN CHEMTRAILS

Something has gone terribly wrong with the technology of nanofibers. Normally, nanofibers are the used for all sorts of good products, such as Nanogen, to make hair look thicker (http://www.nanogen.co.uk/nanofibres.htm).
However, someone has decided to make highly-static nanoscale fibers as thin as 1 micron,
and blow chunks of 'em all over your kids at school. Take a look at these:
http://www.carnicom.com/micro2.htm
http://www.carnicom.com/med1.htm

http://www.marslife.com/cathy1.htm
http://www.orbwar.com/holographic-jet-orb-chemsprayer.htm
http://www.assassinationscience.com/Chemtrails.htm
Please take a full day to check all the "dots" above (i.e. links), and there is no other conclusion than: these nanofibers are a bioengineered weapon being sprayed on us against our will. If this is legal, can you tell me WHY it is legal to kill us and call it "collateral damage"? Better yet, let's make a commercial like the ones that thetruth.org do, with the mannequins on the street, and blowing the air horn every 8 seconds. Except this time, maybe use some spray string as a visual aid.
Now how in the world are these nanofibers made? Good question!
Someone please explain the physical objects involving these phrases?
"ENCAPSULATED ADVANCED CONTROLLED DELIVERY SYSTEMS" "ADVANCED MONOLITHIC DISPERSION DIFFUSION SYSTEMS"
Let's see, let's keep spouting off scientific phrases to people in charge until we get the phrase right. Let's
try:
arc-discharge?
laser ablation?
catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CCVD)?
electrospinning?
A-HA! Electrospinning! Why didn't we think of that before? It's only been around since it was invented back around 1930.
Let's see: we're gonna need an example of a company making nanofibers: http://www.espintechnologies.com/products.htm
See those fibers? They can be made at least as small as 300nm. Let's add nanofibers to the 100X magnification photos at carnicom.com's site. Wanna bet those same kind of fibers can be added to chemtrails?
Now "they"... (you know how people ask: "who's THEY?" anyway...) when THEY get up in those KC-135s or flying, morphing cube sprayers, what do you say they incorporated a mobile electrospinning process that creates highly static nanofibers, and adds it to the extra-fat contrails?
But you say, "how do you know this electrospinning process can be mobile?"
Simple: look at this report from NASA itself:
http://techreports.larc.nasa.gov/ltrs/PDF/2003/aiaa/NASA-aiaa-2003-1768.pdf
"The electrospinning set-up was completely self-contained and MOBILE."
See? Imagine that you're a commander in the military. What better weapon to use than a mobile electrospinning process? The vapor deposition process (CCVD) appears to use too-large a machine, so that's probably not used. The laser ablation idea is kind of neat, too... You could always outfit a flying craft with THAT...
No we're not crazy. We're angry. People out there have rashes with fibers in their lips, arms, and legs. No, doctor! Don't call it "scabies". Not this time pal. Let's talk electrospinning and polymer nanofibers first. Don't call it excessive tire wear on the roads. Wrong answer, man. What's wrong, doctor? Cat got your tongue? Can't talk about electrospinning and nanofibers now? Please, doctor, don't lie to me when you tell me what it is that you pulled from my lip.
We're getting closer to the answer, and the people with the "stupid" fibers in their lips are getting closer to the truth. Believe me, they're calling them more than just "stupid". Even if you are a skeptic, once you take a look at these links and look at the fibers, there's no way any human can deny that these fibers are being used as a weapon against us. If you think that's wrong, please tell it to the people with fibers fish-hooked into their lips. Please, do that first before yelling at the messenger. And don't use the phrase "collateral damage" with them.
I'm looking forward to a "Morgellons" commercial on TV. You won't soon forget it.

The Weather Liars
By Diane Harvey
merak@sedona.net
3-20-4
It has been an astonishing transformation, of the utmost significance. But we never, ever, hear or read about it in the news. Over the last few years, the skies over the American southwest have changed beyond recognition. The famous dazzling blue sky of yesteryear has become, as often as not, sickly pale ugly sludge. This is as shocking a difference as if the surrounding landscape had slowly turned black, while the human inhabitants remained bizarrely oblivious.
There are still clear days, but these are numerically becoming the exception. And this has happened nearly without public comment, in a part of the world where sunny bright blue skies most of the year have been the rule for centuries. But the slow sure rip in the elemental fabric of our lives has not gone entirely unsung. Our so-called weather reports have been carefully rewritten, as ever more strained variations on the theme of Partly Cloudy. Day after day, we are treated to absurd contortions along the lines of partly cloudy, mostly cloudy, mostly sunny, partly sunny, and probably-mostly-partly-sort-of-sunny-and-cloudy. And how is it that the meteorologists can confidently predict this same once highly unlikely forecast for weeks ahead of time? The answer is obvious: because these particular partly cloudy clouds are not clouds at all.
As I write this, normal air traffic is coming and going as always, leaving no distinguishing characteristics in its wake, as usual. But in addition, closely laid out bands of fake contrails are slithering inexorably up from the south. Easily seen with good binoculars, several large unmarked planes methodically plow back and forth, depositing greasy white streams of toxic chemicals across the face of the morning. Giant X,s appear here and there, oozing fatly outward in slow motion. Before my eyes, each of these trails swells and expands, until they begin to merge in the sky-wide stew of chemtrail brew. Another fresh beautiful day has been successfully murdered: suffocated under the clandestine chemical shroud.
The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, but no information is forthcoming as to the factual nature of the secret swill that makes it nearly always only mostly sunny. And as usual lately, the weather forecast is already miraculously perfectly predicted for the next couple of weeks. We are forewarned and know exactly what to expect in the days to come. Here is the typical grimly ironic twaddle promising extensive spraying ahead: "mostly sunny, mostly clear, mostly sunny, mostly clear, mostly sunny, mostly clear, mostly sunny, partly cloudy, partly cloudy, partly cloudy, mostly sunny, partly cloudy and- wait for it- partly cloudy. Such is the ever-repeating litany of sky-lies masquerading as the local weather report.
Meteorologists and weather forecasters have always enjoyed the absolute confidence of the public. We would never have imagined that such respected authorities would offer preposterous fabrications to the public on a daily basis. Who could ever have thought that those we innocently entrust with accurately reporting our weather would become hardened liars as a matter of routine? Such a betrayal of our belief was practically inconceivable. Of course, many people had a hard time believing that a large number of priests were routinely abusing children and lying about it too. Many people have trouble with imagining all sorts of horrendous activities that turn out to be going on all around us all the time. Our credulity, intellectual inertia and blind faith in authorities have allowed the rise of a culture of professionally networked liars on all fronts. The profound failings of an intrinsically unethical civilization have generated innumerable painful awakenings, and we,re not done yet.
Meteorologists consider themselves members in good standing of the secular priesthood of science. Their obedient mouth organs, the media,s weather forecasters, also do not seem to lack self-esteem. Yet none of these self-regarding professionals see any problem in refusing to mention the most visible anomalous activity in our skies. If the seas turned bright red, we might suppose that oceanographers would notice, and immediately report the astounding fact to the public. But no professionally trained eye ever mentions the alarming and frequent spectacle of aerosol operations going on in our atmosphere. Are the so-called priests of science so terrified of truth that they manage to subconsciously blind themselves to the blatantly obvious?
Such a widespread perceptual failure on the part of the paid, impossible at it seems, has at least to be briefly considered. Because a fascinating study some years ago from the University of Southern California concluded that most individuals would indeed refuse to so much as entertain a fact, no matter how self-evidently true that fact was, if believing it would directly affect their income. And from rude experience we may extrapolate to include among the deniers of reality: all those whose self-image and belief system is fanatically welded to the prevailing social fabric of cheap tricks, fake standards, and prevailing prevarications.
The only other possibility for the increasing predilection for fantasy forecasting is that the so-called professionals know perfectly well what is happening in our atmosphere, and are deliberately peddling stupendous lies. There are only two equally deplorable possibilities here. However unlikely it seems, perhaps the paid professionals and amateur weather aficionados are actually a group mysteriously composed only of those people unaccountably devoid of normal perceptual faculties. Maybe they really do manage to believe their own blithering blathercasts, although this seems preposterous on the face of it, even for them. The other, far more rational assumption is that they all know exactly what they are doing and tell these terrible untruths consciously and by design. Either way, the ritual abuse of public trust in honest weather reporting is now absolute.
Compulsive weather liars only have a couple of ways to try to maintain their specious nonsense. The favored ploy is to categorically refuse to address the issue of shockingly obvious atmospheric operations at all. The very people who pride themselves on being scientists, pledged to examine evidence impartially on behalf of the human race- will never, under any circumstances whatsoever, go anywhere near the tell-tale evidence. Neither will any other of the weather professionals in our society. This should not surprise us unduly however, since upholding a lie as big as all outdoors must be quite a draining occupation. Maintaining industrial-strength levels of hypocrisy throughout the length and breadth of once-respectable professions might very well be causing serious wear and tear. Many of the less aggressive types would naturally prefer not talk about it at all, under the humiliating circumstances.
Although liars come in many colors, a basic yellow streak always shows through. The average garden-variety weather reporter or meteorologist uses the affable brick wall technique, applying a cement-like paste of stultifying faux-scientific stupidity to all rational inquiry. Many other weather liars avoid dealing with actively concerned members of the breathing public by sneering automatically and maniacally at any incoming questions. The vicious sort of weather liar believes that the force of sheer personality ugliness ought to impress concerned citizens in lieu of reasoning. But this type, given to hysterical and disfiguring antics in order to avoid discussing anything even resembling reality, needn,t expect to generate real confusion. Informed people simply observe the moral self-mutilation of weather authorities with pity and amazement. Some of the more determined citizens even wait patiently for the froth of sputtering spittle to dry, and then once again politely offer to discuss the facts of atmospheric life. But dancing with frightened, well-schooled and determined liars is a sophisticated sport, not for everyone, and most of us will never wish for practice to make us perfect. Those who sweat it out slinging lies for a living know this about us, and therefore will never stop lying. Lying is by far the easiest way out of dealing with uncomfortable facts for those whose conscience is as yet but a feeble thing, easily disposed of. The unprincipled therefore readily become practiced liars, as a substitute for the more arduous path of becoming practicing humans.
We live in a culture where power precariously supports itself by relying on a tissue of denial and lies, so closely interwoven that the intellectually lazy never even see it. Just as most people still don,t even notice that the sky above has gone from a heavenly blue to a hell of anemic whitish-gray. One has to wonder what magnitude of extreme alteration in the natural environment the average consumer will require, in order to perceive any change in the surroundings at all. And within the network of hypocrisy, those who do honestly admit to themselves what is going on carefully examine on which side their bread is buttered- before bravely declining all comment. When it comes to so-called authorities, the relationship between abject cowardice, absence of all ethics, and perpetual lying is a very straight line connecting three shabby dots.
In any healthy and wholesome society, the habitual liar is rightly looked on as an embarrassment to humanity. While constant lying has never been criminalized per se, since being pathetic is its own punishment, lies that adversely affect other people,s lives are another story. History books are replete with gruesome examples of groups of social liars, their inevitable exposure, and the scathing commentary of subsequent generations. It is true that history excels in revealing past injustice in great and satisfying detail. Yet eventual unmasking of the forgers of sky lies is cold comfort for those whose well being is adversely affected in the present. Neither can the appearance of revealing truth at a later time do any good whatsoever to parents helplessly watching their children suffer in the here and now.
The great glaring fact about the weather is that our atmosphere is being chemically reconditioned right before our eyes, in broad daylight, and each and every one of our weather forecasters is resolutely lying about it. Of course, despite wholesale obfuscation, we are still perfectly free to look outside and investigate what is going on over our heads for ourselves. So should we really mind then that weather reports have become purpose-built acts of science fiction? Why should we care that professional weather forecasters have defaulted on their public duty? We can see the reality for ourselves, in this case as in so many others. In this business of lying whenever their lips are moving, the weather mongers have merely caught up to politicians, military spokespersons, major media sewer outlets, and other full-time enthusiastic cheerleaders for infinite secrecy, world-class lies, and the demise of our Republic.
The truth is that we should all care very much about the truth. It is a primary responsibility to care about being lied to, by any kind of authority, no matter who is doing it or why. We should mind a great deal whenever anyone with any degree of responsibility for the welfare of the public, and the welfare of our Republic, consistently, remorselessly and interminably lies to us. We should certainly never blandly accept the ongoing dark comedy act called a weather report these days, as if it is simply another new form of misapplied creativity. It is not. Lying about what is happening to and in our atmosphere is an unprecedented assault on the entire body politic, and a violent violation of the public trust that must not go unchallenged.
Throughout human history, calling anyone a liar has always been a serious indictment. Civilized human beings have never employed this brutal epithet causally. Lying is, and has always been considered, such a vile act that the average person was careful not to accuse anyone of it without just cause. Logically, there must be many people in different groups and professions involved in trying to confuse the populace about what is really happening to our atmosphere. Ongoing propaganda has been carefully constructed for maximum impact on several fronts. Moreover, disguising the abysmal fact of continuing toxic aerosol operations in our skies is only one of many grotesque deceptions underway. But let us never forget the uniquely disgraceful role meteorologists and weather reporters play in all this, as the middlemen and midwives of deliberate fundamental confusion. Our ridiculous weather cartoons are delivered to us in cold blood, precisely in order to mislead as many of us as possible. And lying to the public about something as crucial to our existence as what we are all breathing constitutes a pathological misuse of power. These wretched examples of authority have willingly traded all vestiges of honor for the sake of regular paychecks. They live for now by means of lying through their teeth to the very people who have trusted them absolutely. But then perhaps they have not yet understood that the sure and certain result of their betrayal will be their undying shame.

Rapid growth of "dead zones" in oceans threatens planet
Mon Mar 29,12:04 AM ET
JEJU, South Korea, (AFP) - The spread of oxygen-starved "dead zones" in the oceans, a graveyard for fish and plant life, is emerging as a threat to the health of the planet, experts say.
For hundreds of millions of people who depend on seas and oceans for their livelihoods, and for many more who rely on a diet of fish and seafood to survive, the problem is acute.
Some of the oxygen-deprived zones are relatively small, less than one square kilometre (0.4 square miles) in size. Others are vast, measuring more than 70,000 square kilometres.
Pollution, particularly the overuse of nitrogen in fertilizers, is responsible for the spread of dead zones, environment ministers and experts from more than 100 countries were told.
The number of known oxygen-starved areas has doubled since 1990 to nearly 150, according to the UN Environmental Program (UNEP), holding is annual conference here.
"What is clear is that unless urgent action is taken to tackle the sources of the problem, it is likely to escalate rapidly," UNEP executive director Klaus Toepfer said.
"Hundreds of millions of people depend on the marine environment for food, for their livelihoods and for their cultural fulfilment."
The world at present gets 17 percent of its animal protein from fish, UN figures show.
That supply is now endangered on at least two fronts: overfishing that has depleted stocks in recent decades and now the challenge of widening dead zones.
The issue was identified as a key emerging problem in the Global Environment Year Book 2003, a health report on the planet released at the start of the UNEP's three-day conference that concludes Wednesday.
The spread of low-level oxygen zones in seas and oceans, identified as early as in the1960s, is closely related to the overuse of fertilizers in agriculture, whose main ingredient is nitrogen.
On land, nitrogen boosts plant growth. But when it washes into the sea in rivers and rainwater overrun, it triggers an explosive bloom of algae.
When these tiny plants growing on the ocean surface sink to the bottom and decompose, they use up all the oxygen and suffocate other marine life.
Fossil fuel waste from motor vehicles and power plants increases nitrogen content in oceans.
With oxygen depletion, fish, oysters and other marine life eventually die out along with important habitats such as sea grass beds.
Relatively large zones are found in the Gulf of Mexico, the Chesapeake Bay off the US East Coast, the Baltic and Black seas, and parts of the Adriatic.
Others have appeared off South America, Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand. Some zones are permanent, while other occur annually or intermittently.
Most of the 160 million tonnes of nitrogen used as fertiliser annually ends up in the sea.
UNEP said efforts should focus on cutting back on overuse of nitrogen to bring the seas back to life.
With a joint accord, European states within the Rhine River basin successfully cut the amount of nitrogen entering the North Sea by 37 percent between 1985 and 2000, it said.
The UNEP advocates planting of more forests and grasslands to soak up excess nitrogen and better sewage treatment.
Its conference is the first ever held in Asia with more than 100 ministers and high-level officials attending from 155 countries.

How to Stay Healthy While Working in an Office--Six Important Tips
By Dr. Joseph Mercola with Rachael Droege
Its no secret that Americans are working long hours, many of them spent in offices and in front of computers. While these long hours may pay off in a business sense, you may find that the strain is taking a toll on your health.
You may not be able to avoid spending more than one-third of your day in the office, but you can certainly make an effort to stay healthy while youre there. Here are some quick tips that will not only improve your day, but also they will protect your body and mind from long-term damage that can accumulate from those long hours at work.
Get Outdoors
Even if its for a quick walk at lunch or a stroll around the building during a break, taking some time to get outside is an important part of the day. This activity will keep your body from becoming fatigued and will give you a brief change of scenery. It is also an excellent way to make sure you are getting some vitamin D from the sun.
Make Sure You Have a Decent Chair
Ideally, your chair should be ergonomic and adjustable for height, back angle and height, seat angle and have adjustable arms. This will help you to control your posture and will put you at a proper distance from your desk without your having to strain or stretch to reach your computer keyboard. Unfortunately, ergonomically designed chairs can be expensive--they typically start at around $200.
Another option is to use an exercise ball for a chair. While this may sound strange at first, it is actually an excellent way to strengthen your muscles and keep you active while you work. An exercise ball (in an appropriate size that allows your thighs to be parallel with the floor) will help you to maintain proper posture and give you freedom of movement. Plus, the small movements that your body will continually make while sitting on a ball can improve circulation and help relieve some of the pressures of gravity.
But no matter what your chair, dont cross your legs and dont slouch.
Protect Your Eyes
Eye strain is a major concern among many computer users. Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) is the term used to describe eye and vision problems linked to extended computer use. Symptoms range from dry, irritated or sore eyes to headaches and blurred vision.
The best way to combat this is to take frequent breaks from looking at your screen. You should look away from your screen and focus on a distant object for at least 20 seconds once an hour. And dont wait until your eyes are fatigued to start. The idea is to give your eyes enough rest so that they dont become strained in the first place.
To best protect your eyes your computer monitor should be about an arms length away--and be sure there is no glare on your screen that makes you squint to see the words. The monitor should be at eye level or slightly below so that you are looking just slightly down at the screen.
Finally, if possible invest in a flat screen monitor. The higher quality and sharper images of these screens is easier on the eyes.
Add Plants to Your Workspace
Offices are typically stuffy with little fresh or flowing air. Adding plants can actually improve the air quality in your office. Studies have shown that indoor plants reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene and hexane, which are known to be toxic to humans at high levels, by up to 100 percent over 24 hours in a closed environment.
Not only that, but having a bit of nature indoors will likely do a great deal for your sense of overall well-being, and adding plants is an inexpensive way to brighten your workspace.
Lighting
The lighting in your office can influence everything from your mood to the glare on your computer screen. If possible, try to have some natural light from a window. If this is not possible, and even if it is, you may want to install some full-spectrum light bulbs.
It is VERY important to know that the only valid full-spectrum lights are fluorescent lights. Incandescent neodymium bulbs frequently advertised for under $10 are NOT full spectrum. They are color corrected and will NOT provide the same benefits.
The newer full spectrum bulbs are compact fluorescents and can screw in a normal fixture. They have an electronic ballast and have much less electromagnetic field radiation. They are costly though and typically run about $30 to $40 a bulb. Over the years though they do return on the investment as they consume about 80 percent less electricity for the same amount of light.
Full-spectrum lights are beneficial because they will help to compensate for the loss of sun on your skin, which can boost your mood and your health--especially during the darker days of winter.
Correct Your Keyboard Setup
Using a computer involves frequent repetitive movements that can lead to repetitive stress injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome. If you type 60 words a minute, youll be making 21,600 key strokes an hour so its easy to see how the stress can add up. Symptoms can range from mild stiffness to severe pain.
To minimize the risk of such injuries, make sure that your hands and wrists are in a neutral position at the keyboard and try to keep your wrists straight and your elbows at right angles. Also make a point to type lightly. Theres no need to press the keys with much force, and this will reduce the strain on your hands, fingers and wrists.

Compulsive Computer Use Growing
Compulsive computer use is becoming more common, US researchers report. And people who spend excessive amounts of time glued to computer screens surfing the Web, talking in chat rooms and playing games often show signs of personality disorders.
There is a growing number who have a problem with excessive and problematic computer use. These people have a hard time controlling their computer use and give the impression of being 'addicted' to their computer, causing all types of problems in their work, personal and social life.
Researchers believe the condition is widespread since they had no trouble finding such people, and most of them had other emotional problems -- identifiable mood or anxiety disorders, substance abuse or personality disorders. In a study of 16 men and 5 women who spent an average of 27 hours a week of their free time in front of a computer, Black and his colleagues found that many compulsive computer users feel happy, excited or powerful when using computers. Most admitted, however, that their screen time had interfered with family, friends, work or school.
About one third of compulsive users who had tried to cut back at one time or another said that spending less time in front of the computer made them feel anxious. The typical subject of our study was a 32-year old man with a college degree and an average income of about $27,000, who had been compulsively using his computer for 3 years. According to the results of several different types of psychological tests, the compulsive computer users had a high rate of mental disorders, especially mood and personality disorders, and drug and alcohol problems. For example, 52% of the people in the study had at least one personality disorder, the investigators found.
In contrast, just 12% of subjects in a community-wide survey had at least one personality disorder. The impact of compulsive computer use is not readily apparent, however, since many of its consequences (e.g., social isolation, marital discord, and financial problems) remain out of the public's view. More work will help pin down its risk factors, psychiatric comorbidity, family history, psychosocial consequences, and natural history.

13 pesticides in body of average American
By MARTIN MITTELSTAEDT
From Friday's Globe and Mail
POSTED AT 7:33 AM EDT
A comprehensive survey of more than 1,300 Americans has found traces of weed- and bug-killers in the bodies of everyone tested, leading environmentalists in both Canada and the United States to call for far tighter controls on pesticides.
The survey, conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, found that the body of the average American contained 13 of these chemicals.
A surprising finding was that 99 per cent of Americans, including virtually all children born in recent years, had DDT residues. The use of the insecticide has been subject to controls and outright bans since the late 1960s, and its presence indicates how persistent it is in the general environment.
More than half of those tested also had residues of 2,4-D. The lawn herbicide is controversial in Canada, where its use has been targeted by dozens of municipal bans on the cosmetic use of herbicides.
The finding of widespread pesticide exposure suggests that, despite the trend to the increased consumption of organic food and intense regulation of the pesticide industry, the U.S. public is routinely coming into contact with these substances through the environment and food.
"The fact that Americans are carrying a mixture of toxic pesticides suggests a dramatic failure of government efforts in the U.S. to protect public health and safety," contended Andrea Peart, a spokesperson for the Sierra Club of Canada.
Health authorities in Canada have done no comparable survey on the amount of pesticides in Canadians. A spokeswoman for Health Canada, Catherine Saunders, says the agency relies on the U.S. data to estimate what Canadians may have in their bodies.
She said Health Canada is currently proposing to have some pesticide measurements done as part of a Statistics Canada survey on the health of Canadians, but that research won't be available until 2006-2007.
Without detailed studies, there is no way of knowing if Canadians are as heavily contaminated as Americans, or have lower amounts of pesticides in their bodies. "I think the logical question . . . is are we going to find these same results in Canada?" said Ms. Peart.
The levels of pesticides found in Americans were generally small. The DDT residues were detected in parts per billion, with the highest readings in women. Women generally have more fatty tissue than men and DDT is stored in fat.
But environmentalists have raised concerns that some residues exceed safety standards. Pesticide Action Network North America analyzed the U.S. exposure data and determined that for two insecticides -- chlorpyrifos and methyl parathion -- exposures exceeded acceptable thresholds, in one case, by more than four times the amount recommended for children.
Canadian health authorities believe Canadians may have smaller amounts of the two compounds in their bodies.
Health Canada has been concerned by chlorpyrifos exposure in children, and banned residential uses of the insecticide in 2001 for this reason, according to Chris Krepski, a spokesman for Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency. However, the pesticide is still in widespread use on food crops.
Chlorpyrifos is in a class of pesticides known as organophosphates, over which there is considerable concern about potential health effects. Organophosphates disrupt nerve impulses and some research suggests they may harm brain development.
Although the PMRA has banned the use of the product around homes, Canadians could still have exposures because chlorpyrifos can be used on 30 crops, including wheat, peaches and strawberries. The crop list in Canada is generally the same as in the United States.
Methyl parathion is used heavily in the United States to kill insects on cotton crops, but is not licensed for use in Canada.
Danger within
A recent study of over 1,300 Americans found widespread evidence of pesticides in their systems. Below are some pesticides and the percentage of those tested in whom they were found.
TCP or chlorpyrifos
Licensed for agricultural use in Canada, but was recently banned for use around homes: 93%
2,4-D
Active ingredient in most lawn herbicides; subject to bans in many Canadian municipalities: 55%
DDE
A breakdown product of DDT; persists in people's bodies despite having been banned for decades: 99%

Accordingly to declassified documents secured during the invasion of Germany, the idea and first implementation of the microwave frequencies to be considered as a useful tool for cooking came about in Nazi Germany prior to the beginning of the second world war. It was being investigated as a quick alternative to more conventional methods in use for cooking to large contingents of mobile troops. Their research pointed out with the models they constructed, that several undesirable things occurred. The test subjects, both human and animal quickly became wrought with a number of physical ailments. Small animals such as the rats they used had considerably shortened life spans and very frequently developed a number of cancers. The humans had more damage to their internal organs noticed during the autopsies that those of other people of similar size and characteristics. Because these early ovens were very high powered units in comparison to those in use today the effects became much more accentuated in a shorter time due to the increased amount of microwaves being directed into the food.
Their conclusion was that microwaves would be useful for weapons, communications and other applications but for cooking it would substantially reduce the effectiveness and strength of their troops in the field in a short time. And they decided not to use them for cooking on their own troops. Curiously, this same information was also gathered by the Russians during the invasion. They did similar experiments and their reaction........they were banned form being sold or used in the Soviet Union until 1977. Now the government there at that time was not as considerate of the people's health in general from an outsiders observation yet they still were fully cognizant of the German research and would not allow the disastrous effects from their widespread use to take place in their country.
Yet in America, they were just starting to gain a foothold in the cooking appliance industry and slowly became more prevalent as people were brainwashed to accept them without question as for their safety and quickness. Coincidentally, some of the major companies involved in the early American models being produced, noticed within a short time the trend this was taking place. Statistics began to show in less than 10 years from when the observations were being made, there was a large rise in the cancer rate, abdominal, intestinal, stomach, liver, kidney disorders, diminished hearing capacities, and disruptions with the optic nerves resulting in an many vision related problems. This was not overlooked by the profit motive that drives the medical industry who quickly gave their endorsements for their safety and use in studies entirely sponsored by the equipment manufacturers. Who in turn began investing heavily in the medical industry as they saw that the number of infirmities and disorders was increasing substantially with the exponential rise in the use of microwaves. Ever wonder why cell phone use is being so heavily promoted now? There are a number of very similar underlying reasons as to why.
So we have two seemingly unrelated industries who own a lot of stock with each other. And why? Because one makes a piece of equipment that effectively erodes a persons health over time which generates more and more sick people. And these sick individuals are then given various pharmaceuticals, operated on, etc. from disease conditions caused by or boosted from the microwave influx. It is a circular system of mutual profit built upon the demise of the populace's health.
In Switzerland, a brilliant researcher conducted many carefully controlled tests of the before and after effects of using microwave ovens for cooking. Without exception, every person and animal used showed varying degrees of damage to their health when they began eating exclusively microwaved food. When he published his results with much substantiation to back up his claims he was sued by companies who made and promoted the use of these ovens. The case went all the way the Swiss Supreme Court equivalent..........They upheld his claims finding that he presented a significant amount of proof to back up what he was saying as being valid and ruled in his favor much to the displeasure of the microwave manufacturers and promoters. His research included careful studies which showed numerous instances of cellular damage and other imbalances caused by the ingestion of microwaved foods. MICROWAVES CREATE LARGE AMOUNTS OF FREE RADICALS IN ALL FOODS SUBJECTED TO THEIR INFLUENCE. As a consequence, they quickly hasten the malfunctioning of ones health due to the detrimental waveforms that occur as a result of being oscillated by microwaves.
Russian researchers used various techniques and Kirlian type aura photographic equipment. Rapid pulse imaging devices employing lasers to be responsive to wide range infrared and short to long range ultraviolet waves were also utilized. These would produce an image on a CRT screen of what form and characteristic the ultraviolet or infrared appeared around an object or living being. Different kinds of foods were selected in repeated tests. Pulse imaging showed considerable reductions in ultraviolet emissions in foods after being microwaved. The remaining emissions of UV in comparison to before, contained various sharp spikes in the UV image which weren't present previously. This caused the images to appear out of proportion from the spikes that showed up.
While certain bandwidths remained in the infrared range afterwards because of heating from microwave agitation, many vanished completely which didn't happen in conventionally cooked foods in comparison. The findings were that with increased microwave influences on foods the more pronounced these patterns of spikes, distortions emanating from various portions of the occurred. Their conclusions were that various bandwidths in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrum regions correspond to the vitality or life field equivalent in living things. Microwaves diminished or eliminated large portions of the parts of the spectrum in UV and IF that indicated vitality or life force. sugars were altered, enzymes were destroyed, minerals in foods didn't assimilate or absorb as well in people tested.
Vitamins were rendered useless or minimally effective from the disruptions caused by microwave exposures. And last but not least...........Kirlian type photos showed grungy looking brown and blackish auras around foods permeating and surrounding the food. I gave one the distinct impression that the food would not be very good for one's health to ingest and could contribute to and accentuate health problems considerably.
Just a few years ago an independent researcher in Japan, Mr. Emoto, began taking pictures of water crystals from water subjected to different influences including certain words or statements. These would alter the structure of the water which was evidenced by the varying crystals being produced. When water was microwaved, then flash frozen and examined under a microscope, they looked for the ice crystals that formed and what shape they took. In comparison to many other influences which showed well formed distinctly defined water crystals after being exposed, froze and then photographed, microwaved water made highly distorted, very poorly defined, imbalanced looking crystals and this happened repeatedly. And if you consider this alone it has got to make you wonder about how detrimental such distorted water would be to your health.
Unfortunately, many people don't know this and probably wouldn't believe it because they've bought the controlled viewpoint which is bought and paid for propaganda. This propaganda was generated by those who make large profits from equipment sales and in the medical health industry. It tells them to relay to the public that microwaves are safe to use or they would have heard different on the news or somewhere by now that they were bad and since they haven't they won't believe anything to the contrary. And so they drink dead and distorted microwaved water daily not knowing how constantly devitalizing and life reducing it is to do so. This information is not widely disseminated over the major media and made enthusiastically available for reading of students in schools. Instead, the oh, they're okay and safe to use bull is fed to the students.
Curiously, many hospitals now will no longer allow milk to be heated in microwave ovens and given to babies as it caused many different severe reactions. It considerably compromised the babies health and in a number of instances death occurred as a result of drinking this milk. Finally, they opted to stop heating the milk in this manner after such incidents were repeatedly occurring with frequent deaths. So if microwaves alter milk in such a harmful manner that it is very bad to give to babies what makes it okay for a persons health to heat milk and other things in just because they're older????? Didn't know if you were aware of these factors so I thought I would share them.
As for them being quick no one can deny that.

In their stunning new book, THE VIRUS AND THE VACCINE (St. Martin's Press; May 2004), Debbie Bookchin and Jim Schumacher uncover a frightening and largely untold government secret that affects almost every American over age 40 and some of their children and grandchildren as well: In the 1950s and 1960s, the polio vaccine used to inoculate millions of Americans carried within it a monkey virus called SV40, one of the deadliest carcinogens known to man. Even worse, Bookchin and Schumacher discover that the U.S. government - fearful of the public's reaction - systematically covered up and disregarded the danger that SV40 poses to humans.
The revelation that this medical blunder occurred, and that a cover-up has been in place for decades, marks a huge breach of trust between the public and the government-sponsored medical agencies that are supposed to be looking out for our welfare. It also asks the question: Just what kind of safeguards are in place to prevent similar mishaps from occurring in the many other inoculations that are routinely administered to Americans?
In THE VIRUS AND THE VACCINE, Bookchin and Schumacher reveal that SV40 has been linked to such cancers as mesothelioma, lymphoma and a variety of brain and bone tumors. They also unearth some startling facts, including:
The U.S. government used its influence to try to thwart the work of researchers who attempted to expose the link between SV40 and cancer.
In the 1960s, the U.S. government knowingly allowed SV40-contaminated
polio vaccine to be administered and maintained that SV40 was harmless to humans, even as the evidence pointed to the contrary. There is evidence that SV40 is present in some blood samples taken from children today, indicating that the virus is spreading even beyond the original 100 million Americans who received widely contaminated vaccine back in the 1950s and 1960s. There is evidence that more modern polio vaccine may, at times, have been contaminated right through the 1990s, decades after it was supposedly cleaned up. Consumer fact-sheets prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and other government agencies contain misleading and inaccurate information downplaying the dangers of SV40 despite the substantial data to the contrary.
The Virus and the Vaccine follows the dramatic story of how SV40 came to taint America's most famous vaccine - from the early search for a polio cure in the 1950s - to the heartbreak of family members watching loved ones dies of cancer caused by the virus 40 years later. In a book that critics have hailed as "meticulously researched, levelheaded, and well-written" and a "gripping," "page-turning narrative," that "reads like a novel," Bookchin and Schumacher present a meticulous, well-documented investigation into this largely unknown story in medical history, detailing the disturbing government efforts to keep the link between SV40, cancer and the polio vaccine quiet.
Likewise, they follow the recent struggles of a group of prominent cancer researchers led by an enterprising doctor named Michele Carbone, whose persistence in linking SV40 to cancer has finally brought this issue to light. Carbone and other scientists familiar with SV40 maintain that it is imperative to understand how the virus may spread among humans, how to prevent it from causing cancer, and what therapies might be available for those who already have SV40-related cancers. This is especially true because SV40 is now showing up in pediatric brain and bone tumors, not just in tumors of the elderly and Baby Boom generation.
In the era of SARS, Avian Flu virus, West Nile virus and other animal-to-human transmitted viral diseases, the story of how a carcinogenic monkey virus contaminated America's "miracle" vaccine offers important lessons, especially when parents across the country are looking for reassurance that their government is doing its best to guarantee the safety of vaccines used today.

New Studies on Pesticide Residues Alarm Consumers & Farmers
Anti-Pesticide Campaigns Get Boost from Worrisome New Studies
Katherine Stapp 5/14/04
New data proving that an array of pesticides have reached alarming levels in the general population are galvanising calls for a ban on the most harmful chemicals and greater investment in sustainable farming strategies.
NEW YORK, May 14 (IPS) - This week, the San Francisco-based Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA) released an analysis of data on 34 pesticides collected from more than 9,000 people by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a U.S. government agency that monitors public health.
Their report found that among people who had both their blood and urine tested, 100 percent showed pesticide residues. Two insecticides -- chlorpyrifos and methyl parathion -- were found at levels up to 4.5 times greater than what the U.S. government deems 2acceptable2.
Chlorpyrifos, manufactured under the trade name Dursban by Dow Chemical, was especially pervasive, according to the study, titled 2Chemical Trespass: Pesticides in Our Bodies and Corporate Accountability2.
PANNA estimates that Dow is the source for some 80 percent of the chlorpyrifos found in those tested.
In fact, Dursban has been controversial for years. In 1999, the CDC announced that 82 percent of U.S. citizens had the chemical in their bodies. As a result, Dow agreed to phase out most household uses of Dursban, although it is still widely sold both in the United States and abroad.
The chemical is used in products ranging from flea collars for pets to garden and lawn care products. It is also a component in insect control products, both in agriculture and for household use.
Under a 1994 agreement, Dow also promised to stop advertising its product as 2safe2. After the company continued to claim that Dursban had no 2long term (health) effects2 and posed 2no evidence of significant risk to the environment,2 it was slapped with a two-million-dollar fine last December, the largest of its kind in U.S. history.
PANNA says the company reacted predictably to the most recent study.
2Dow's response has been to say that these pesticides don't last very long (in human tissue and the environment), but the CDC data directly contradicts that,2 Monica Moore, co-director of PANNA, told IPS. 2This really needs to be a wake-up call.2
PANNA gained access to CDC data broken down by gender, age and ethnicity, but not by geographic area or occupation. However, Moore said that the particularly high pesticide levels seen in Mexican-Americans, for example, were suggestive of exposure during farm labour.
2What this study shows is that it's not just an individual solution,2 she said. 2We need to adopt sustainable agriculture techniques. Even if you only eat organic produce, these chemicals are in the air, the water, the stuff you touch. That's why we're calling for removal of these pesticides from the environment.2
The PANNA analysis came on the heels of another study by the Ontario College of Family Physicians that found linkages between pesticide exposure and a host of cancers, as well as birth defects and foetal death.
The Canadian researchers sifted through some 12,000 studies conducted from 1990 to 2003 around the world, and concluded that there is no evidence that some pesticides are less dangerous than others, rather that they have different effects on health that take different periods to appear.
While women often register higher exposures then men because their body fat traps the toxins from pesticides, experts note that children are consistently the most vulnerable group.
In India, a study released by Greenpeace at the end of April titled 2Arrested Development2 determined that exposure to even small doses of pesticides impairs children's analytical abilities, motor skills and memory.
2When we started on this study, we knew we were likely to find unsettling evidence of children damaged by pesticides,2 said Kavitha Kuruganti, lead investigator of the study, in a statement.
2But the results of a systematic, nationwide study were far more shocking than we'd expected: 898 children from backgrounds as diverse as Tamil Nadu and Punjab who have nothing in common but their exposure to pesticides also share the inability to perform simple play-based exercises -- like catching a ball or assembling a jigsaw puzzle -- simply because they've been exposed to pesticides over a period of time,2 she said.
Among four- and five-year-olds in the country's pesticide-intensive cotton belts, the exposed children performed worse than the control group in 86 percent of the tests. Among older children, ages nine to 13, the figure was 84.2 percent.
2North-eastern states like Sikkim and Mizoram have already recognised the risks of using pesticides and declared themselves 'organic states',2 said K. A. Chandrasekar, director of the Social Initiative for Rural People's Integration, a local partner in the project.
2This study will show farmers the real price they have been forced to pay for succumbing to the marketing tactics of pesticides manufacturers.2
On May 17, the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) will take effect. It targets an initial 12 chemicals -- known as 2the dirty dozen2 -- for elimination, nine of them pesticides. The accord, just ratified by the necessary 50 countries, bans the use of POPs, and also focuses on eliminating obsolete stockpiles of pesticides and toxic chemicals that contain POPs.
The George W. Bush administration has so far refused to ratify the treaty. But some anti-pesticide campaigners are not waiting for the federal government to act. In the western state of California, a coalition of local organisations, including an indigenous group, has filed a lawsuit against the state's environmental protection agency for failing to meet goals on reducing pesticide use and smog-causing pollutants. Farm workers in Washington state, in the northwest, are suing the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for allowing the use of two toxic pesticides, azinphos-methyl and phosmet, despite research showing the dangers of exposure to such chemicals.
Just last week, 13 people working in a California peach orchard were rushed to the hospital after being exposed to the deadly nerve gas pesticide Monitor 4 and the pesticide Penncozeb 75 DM, when the wind shifted from a nearby potato field that was being sprayed.
Activists hope the new PANNA report will galvanise public opinion against pesticide use the way research documenting the health effects of smoking turned the tide against cigarette companies in the 1990s.
2The pesticides we carry in our bodies are made and aggressively promoted by agrochemical companies,2 said Skip Spitzer of PANNA. 2These companies also spend millions on political influence to block or undermine regulatory measures designed to protect public health and the environment.2

A Toxic Cover-Up?
By Bob Simon
CBS News
Sunday 04 April 2004
(CBS) Who is Jack Spadaro? He's a man who's devoted his life to the safety of miners and the safety of people who live near mines.
He's an engineer, who until recently was head of the National Mine Health and Safety Academy (MSHA), a branch of the Department of Labor, which trains mining inspectors.
But he lost that job last year, after he blew the whistle on what he called a whitewash by the Bush administration of an investigation into a major environmental disaster.
"I had never seen anything so corrupt and lawless in my entire career, what I saw regarding interference with a federal investigation of the most serious environmental disaster in the history of the Eastern United States," says Spadaro.
"I've been in government since Richard Nixon. I've been through the Reagan administration, Carter and Clinton. I've never seen anything like this."
What he's talking about is what he calls a government cover-up of an investigation into a disaster 25 times the size of the Exxon Valdez spill.
It happened in October of 2000, when 300 million gallons of coal slurry - thick pudding-like waste from mining operations - flooded land, polluted rivers and destroyed property in Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. The slurry contained hazardous chemicals, including arsenic and mercury.
"It polluted 100 miles of stream, killed everything in the streams, all the way to the Ohio River," says Spadaro, who was second in command of the team investigating the accident.
The slurry had been contained in an enormous reservoir, called an impoundment, which is owned by the Massey Energy Company. One night, the heavy liquid broke through the bottom of the reservoir, flooded the abandoned coalmines below it and roared out into the streams.
Spadaro says the investigators discovered the spill was more than an accident -- it was an accident waiting to happen.
During the investigation carried out by Spadaro and his colleagues, it came out that there had been a previous spill in 1994 at the same impoundment. The mining company claimed it had taken measures to make sure it wouldn't happen again, but an engineer working for the company said the problem had not been fixed, and that both he and the company knew another spill was virtually inevitable.
"He said, We knew there would be another breakthrough," says Spadaro. "We knew. And I asked him how many people in the company knew and he said, Well, at least five people."
So why didnt they fix it? "It would have been expensive to find another site. And I think they were willing to take the risk - It was a certainty," says Spadaro.
He says it was a certainty because there was only a very thin layer of rock at the bottom of the reservoir. But that's not what the mining company had told the government.
"They told the government that there was a solid coal barrier, at least 70 to 80 feet wide between the mine workings and the bottom of the reservoir," says Spadaro of the barrier, which is less than 20 feet. "They were misrepresenting the facts - and they knew that. The company knew that and I'm sorry to say I believe some people within the government knew that."
Davitt McAteer was Spadaro's boss when the disaster happened, and head of the MSHA. He says Spadaro is right, that his own regulators hadn't done their job: "I know they didn't do enough in terms of enforcement because the thing failed. That's the proof."
"This was a catastrophic failure. By the grace of God only did we avoid fatalities," says McAteer, who expected the report to be harsh. The investigators were going to cite the coal company for serious violations that would probably have led to large fines and even criminal charges.
But all that changed when the Bush administration took over and decided that the country needed more energy -- and less regulation of energy companies. The investigation into Massey Energy, a generous contributor to the Republican Party, was cut short.
"The Bush administration came in and the scope of our investigation was considerably shortened, and we were told to wrap it up in a few weeks," says Spadaro.
"They cut it off. They did," says Ellen Smith, who publishes the countrys only newsletter devoted entirely to mine safety and health. She's been writing about the mining industry for 16 years.
"People I spoke with, who were on the investigation team, told me that they believed it was absolutely cut short, that they had more work to do and they were told to wrap it up," says Smith.
"It appeared to me they thought we were getting too close to issuing serious violations to the mining company," says Spadaro.
The new head of MSHA, a Bush appointee named Dave Lauriski, was a former mining industry mining executive, and so were his top deputies.
Spadaro says Lauriski came into his office one day, and insisted he sign a watered down version of the report -- a version that virtually let the coal company and MSHA off the hook.
"He said , I'm in a hard spot here and I need you to sign this report," recalls Spadaro. "I said, You'd best take my name off that report because I'm never going to sign that report."
Originally, Spadaro says his investigating team wanted to cite the company for eight violations. But in the end, Massey Energy was only cited for two violations, and had to pay approximately $110,000 in fines - not a lot for the fifth largest mining company in America.
Massey Energy, declined to talk to 60 Minutes. And Lauriski declined to be interviewed. So did his boss, Elaine Chao, the secretary of labor. The Department of Labor has consistently stood behind the report.
But Linc Chapman, who lives in the path of that black slurry which flooded his property and terrified his 13-year-old daughter, insists the investigation was a whitewash: "I have absolutely no confidence anymore in any of our regulatory agencies."
Hes added a second floor to his home, so his family wouldn't worry about being buried alive if there were another spill. Its a possibility that he believes may happen as long as there are hundreds of slurry impoundments in the mountains of Appalachia.
"Its a terrible thing as a father when your kids lay down at night and you tuck 'em in, and they ask you, Dad, the slurry's
not gonna come out tonight is it," says Chapman. "And you have to tell them, I don't know that the slurry's not gonna come out tonight."
Three years after the spill, there's still slurry on the Chapman's property, and you don't have to dig deep to find it. Now, the Chapmans want to sell their house, but because of the slurry on the property, there aren't any buyers.
"No one wants it. Basically its cost me everything that I have invested here, everything I've ever worked for all my life," says Chapman.
All Spadaro has worked for in his life has been mine safety. So when he felt his new bosses were trying to sabotage the investigation by trying to get him to go along with a cover-up, he complained to the Labor Department's inspector general.
The inspector general looked into the matter and released a report, saying: "None of the allegations brought forward by Mr. Spadaro were substantiated."
"That s
